We are pleased to share the news that two of our vets were recently successful in their applications to join the RCVS list of Advanced Practitioners. ‘Advanced Practitioner’ is an official recognition of a veterinary surgeon’s particular knowledge and skills in a designated field of veterinary practice. Richard’s designated field is ‘small animal medicine’ and Laura’s is ‘small animal cardiology’.
They join John, who is an advanced practitioner in small animal surgery, and Ian whose area of expertise is exotic pets and zoo species.
Advanced Practitioners must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification, maintain and provide acceptable documented continual professional development and be a current active practitioner within their selected field of designation. You can read more here.
