Are we the right fit for you?
We have joined The Meraki Initiative to share a transparent insight into the employee experience and positive culture you can expect as a member of our team. Check out our profile to find out more and connect with us.
If you are a vet student looking for EMS placements check out our student Meraki profile here.
We see a diverse and interesting range of cases, and are passionate about team development and training – we love for people to find their ‘niche’, but equally understand some people like to do a bit of everything. Check out the rest of the website to find out more about our team, what we do, and our involvement in the community. We also enjoy socialising outside of work; previous outings have included raft building, go karting, a wildlife boat trip and alpaca walking as well as the usual evenings out.
VETERINARY NURSE POSITIONS
If you are a Registered Veterinary Nurse that is interested in working with us, feel free to send us an email (info@greenbayvets.co.uk) for the attention of John and Laura Mather. We will be happy to meet you, show you around and discuss any opportunities.
This is what Ellen, one of our RVNs, has to say about working at Greenbay:
“I contacted Greenbay Vets shortly after qualifying in 2020, thinking it would be a temporary role while I finished my top up degree. Nearly 3 years on I am still here and love my job as an RVN working with such a fantastic team! Some of my favourite things about Greenbay are the high standard of care we offer to our patients and the variety of cases we see. John and Laura are very supportive in helping me to progress in my career and have enabled me to study for a certificate in my area of interest. I am so glad I chose Greenbay and wouldn’t want to work anywhere else!”
VETERINARY SURGEON POSITIONS
If you are a Veterinary Surgeon that is interested in working with us, feel free to send us an email (info@greenbayvets.co.uk) for the attention of John and Laura Mather. We will be happy to meet you, show you around and discuss any opportunities.
We are an RCVS Approved VetGDP graduate development practice.
This is what Jemma, who joined us a new graduate veterinary surgeon in 2019, has to say about working at Greenbay:
“I love working in such a close-knit team, the ‘Greenbay family’ – we all get on well and always have each other’s backs. John and Laura are so supportive and I know all the other vets will always be happy to discuss cases. I feel privileged to work in a practice with some of the very best and latest equipment, which means we can provide a high standard of service and care to our patients and clients, and we refer very few cases elsewhere as a result. The general diary management means that I have time to work-up cases to a high level and manage admin, meaning I feel satisfied that I have done a good job and made a difference to the animal and their owner.”
This is what Harry, who joined us in 2023, has to say about working at Greenbay:
“If you value being able to do your job to best of your ability, with both endless support and massive clinical freedom; if you are committed to wanting to improve your skills new and old and are keen to get to grips with lots of fun gadgets; if you want to laugh alongside an incredibly fun and talented team, then you will struggle to find a better workplace than Greenbay.”

Placements are highly competitive and unfortunately we are unable to accommodate all students who request places.
