Cryptosporidium Advice

By greenbayvets May 16, 2024 Greenbay Vet News No Comments

For the latest updates on the situation locally please see South West Water’s website.

Pets, like humans, can be infected with cryptosporidium. As a precaution, if you live in the affected area, you can give your pets boiled, cooled water as drinking water or use bottled water. It is unlikely to cause serious illness unless your pet is immunocompromised, but as always if you are worried your pet is unwell please contact us for advice.
